Honestly, it was quite tiring, but watching the surface become gradually smooth was addictively satisfying. Then I bought some narrow wood strips from the lumber market, choosing dark teak that matched the table's original color well. After cutting these strips to suitable lengths and securing them to the table edges with wood glue and a nail gun, the table immediately looked much more refined.

The final highlight was the paint job. I chose a sunny day, laid down dust sheets on the balcony, and started with primer, followed by the topcoat after it dried. Another particularly useful modification was adding storage racks to the back of cabinet doors. This space is usually wasted, but adding racks makes it perfect for storing frequently used items like plastic wrap and aluminum foil, making them very accessible.
